Palmarosa essential oil, in 10 ml format, is extracted from the leaves of the Palmarosa plant, by our Indian and Nepalese producers. Its subtle aroma is reminiscent of floral and lemony notes, bringing a feeling of lightness and calm.
Palmarosa essential oil is produced by a young Malagasy cooperative. This association brings together around thirty distillers from different regions. Committed to organic farming for three years, the cooperative favors respect for the environment and the preservation of fauna and flora, while aiming for fair sales prices. The plantations are divided into plots to facilitate crop rotation. Organic and FFL certifications are respected, with a strict policy of zero pesticides and phytosanitary products. In addition, the use of firewood is reduced by integrating bamboo into the distillations. The recent partnership with FFL opens up prospects for increased social actions within the cooperative and contributes to the stability of the essential oils sector in the region thanks to significant annual order volumes.

Palmarosa is a perennial plant that grows in dense clumps. It is distinguished by its long, narrow, linear, bright green leaves, as well as stems that can reach up to two meters in height. The flowers grow in small clusters, ranging from pale yellow to pale pink.
Originally from India, this plant grows wild in this region. It is also grown in other tropical and subtropical areas of the world.
Palmarosa is particularly appreciated for its precious essential oil, obtained from its leaves and stems. The essential oil gives off a sweet and pleasant floral aroma, reminiscent of roses.
