Ravintsara essential oil, in 10 ml and 30 ml formats, is extracted from the leaves of the Ravintsara tree, by our Malagasy producers. Its fresh, sweet and camphorous scent evokes a feeling of calm and relaxation.
Ravintsara essential oil comes from a group of 17 distillers from various regions of Madagascar. All their products are certified organic and Fair For Life (FFL) by ECOCERT, coming from fresh raw materials from their members' plantations.
The production of this oil is ensured by their members throughout the year, outside the rainy season.
Environmental measures, such as reforestation and waste management, are put in place. Their social commitment takes the form of the distribution of school kits, the construction of infrastructure and the distribution of seedlings for reforestation.
The ravintsara, an evergreen tree, can reach a height of 10 to 15 meters.
In Malagasy, the term “raintsara” means “good leaf”, highlighting the beneficial properties of the leaves of this tree.
In Madagascar, ravintsara occupies a sacred place in traditional rituals and ceremonies. It is attributed with purifying and protective qualities. In Malagasy culture, ravintsara is frequently associated with healing, protection against evil spirits, and the promotion of general well-being.
